Translation

We are a “Translation Agency” and this covers a multitude of work, ranging from sworn legal translations (dealt with in the next item), to the written translation of letters, contracts, agreements, forms, school reports etc, to verbal on-the-spot interpreting between you and the bank manager, the teacher, the police, the plumber or carpenter, your neighbour, the shop owner or the owner of the property you want to buy.

If you get stuck anywhere, you can call us and then we can translate by phone; you can call us in to deal with any situation where there is a lack of language understanding, either in the office at a pre-arranged meeting, on site to talk better about the subject, or in a neutral place if this is helpful. We have a private room in the office for confidential meetings that you can use if you wish.  In short, where it is important to understand clearly what the other person is saying and relay your answers accurately, you can bring us in on the job.

You can get us to do written translations of your legal documents such as the compraventa or escritura, notes to your neighbour, help you fill out forms for completion, accompany you to the doctor or the vets to ensure an accurate explanation of symptoms, or translate your Curriculum Vitae into another language for that job application abroad. We have the experience and tact to deal with any situation in a sensitive way and our aim is always to promote understanding between the various cultures, whilst respecting confidentiality.
