Full Description: This house and casita are set in a very peaceful location, along the riverbed from Tablones. They are located in the hills so have good views across to the Sierra Nevada and the whole property is very private. The house and casita are built in the typical charming Alpujarran design, with flat roof and beamed ceilings, and there are nice gardens and terraced land, (measuring 2500sq.m), with approx 90-100 trees including orange, olive and other fruit trees.
The properties are approached by a track to the rear of the main house, where there is parking for 2 cars, and there is then a short walk to the properties. The main house has a large covered patio outside which is a lovely area with seating, a fireplace, and plenty of shade. The front door opens into the kitchen, which is of a good size and fully fitted, and leads into a large living room. The living room is a large area with 2 wood-burners, and has double doors opening out to the front patio, and also other double doors leading to a rear patio. This living room is therefore a lovely light and spacious room with great access to outside spaces. An archway leads from the living room into 2 large double bedrooms.
From the kitchen there is also an entrance to a useful utility room, which in turn leads into the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath with shower, and the room next-door houses the compost toilet.
The rear patio is a lovely area that receives the morning sun. There is a garden here with plenty of trees for shade, and it is a very peaceful and quiet area with views of the mountains.
The casita is located along a short walkway from the main house. There is a patio, with shade, at the front of the house and the front door enters into an open-plan kitchen and living room, with fireplace. There is one bedroom at the rear of the casita, a shower-room, a small office/study, and an outside compost toilet.
Both properties are decorated nicely and could be moved straight into. They have acquiea water which is collected in a tank, (rather than mains water), and solar electricity. The whole property is quiet and private and is not overlooked. There is also a ruin and land next-door, (owned by another person), which could perhaps be purchased enabling the casita to be extended.
